I would like to thank you for sharing Crystal's story with us. I am so very proud of her and the things she has overcome. I cried until I couldn't cry anymore. And I'm still crying right now as I am writing this review. I would recommend every young lady to read this book. It shows that you can beat any situation. I don't know if it could've been any worst, but Crystal's determination didn't allow her to become stagnant. Knowing the conditions and how people are in that region she grew up in, it makes me so proud that she didn't rely on temporary outlets to take away the pain. The hand that she was dealt made it seem that all odds were against her but she still came out a shining star! The descriptiveness and how in depth this story was wrote put me right there in Crystals character and the author did such a great job at painting that picture for us. And I am so happy that she met "Zo" ;-)

I really enjoyed reading this book. It made me laugh, cry, and happy at times. "Crystal" went through a lot in her lifetime, yet she came out fighting Strong. The story was delivered in a way that it held my attention throughout the entire book. I am an avid reader and I must say, this book is very engaging. I felt as if I was reading about a true person, about things I could empathize with. I am looking forward to the upcoming continuance of this story. Congratulations Ms. Talva on doing a great job.

This book was a great read, however its not until the last chapter that the lessons comes full circle. Crystal is a strong and brave young lady that did not allow her circumstance define who she is or who she would be. She kept on keeping on. If you have ever been through anything in your life and allowed it to define your present and future this is the book that may help you to reprogram your thinking and move towards healing. BRAVO!

The author, Talva, really captures your curiosity to delve further into the Enigma (Puzzle, Mystery) of life. Through the life of the character Crystal; you get to witness how a childs life can go from sunshine to cloudy grey skies. This is a interesting, compeling, and at times really humorous book. The story will leave you questioning your own thought process about how you view and judge people. Great read!
